DeAR OPS Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 11, 2026

DeAR OPs (De Animal Recovery Operations) is a recovery management application provided by DeMASTER DRONES ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how DeAR OPs accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when operators use the application.

DeAR OPs is designed to help recovery operators manage requests, schedule searches, coordinate staff, document outcomes, and maintain recovery records using their own Google accounts and connected Google Sheets.

1. Information We Access

Depending on the features used and the permissions granted, DeAR OPs may access:

  • Google account information: Basic account information, such as an email address, used to identify the signed-in account and connect authorized Google services.

  • Google Sheets information: Spreadsheet content and structure necessary to display, create, update, and organize recovery records.

  • Google Forms information: Form questions, configuration, and associated response information needed to connect an operator's intake process to DeAR OPs.

  • Recovery information: Hunter names, contact information, search and meeting locations, shot information, scheduling details, staff assignments, waivers, search outcomes, notes, payment records, and other information entered by the operator or received through the connected intake process.

  • Application settings: Field mappings, staff configuration, display preferences, and other settings necessary for the application to function.

  • Photos and attachments: Images or supporting information that an operator chooses to add through available application features.

DeAR OPs accesses Google information only within the permissions granted by the user and for the functionality provided by the application.

2. How We Use Information

DeAR OPs uses connected information to:

  • Display incoming recovery requests from an operator's Google Sheet.

  • Create new search records from within the application.

  • Save search changes and results to the connected Google Sheet.

  • Schedule searches and assign staff.

  • Provide access to hunter contact details and locations.

  • Support calling, texting, and navigation through compatible device services.

  • Record search activity, outcomes, notes, and related information.

  • Display search history, operational summaries, and staff information.

  • Support offline functionality and synchronize eligible changes when connectivity returns.

  • Maintain application settings and authorized access.

Google user data is used to provide or improve the user-facing functionality of DeAR OPs, consistent with applicable Google API Services User Data Policy requirements.

3. Ownership and Storage of Recovery Records

DeAR OPs is designed around an operator-controlled data model.

The operator selects and authorizes the Google account and Google Sheet used for recovery management. The connected Google Sheet remains in the operator's Google account and is subject to Google's applicable storage, access, and retention controls.

DeAR OPs does not require operators to transfer their entire recovery database into a centrally hosted DeAR OPs database.

However, the application may temporarily store records, configuration information, and pending changes on the device or within application storage to support performance and offline functionality.

The operator is responsible for controlling access to their Google account, spreadsheet, forms, and records, including any permissions granted to staff or collaborators.

4. Offline Data and Synchronization

DeAR OPs includes offline functionality.

To make information available without a network connection, the application may retain locally cached copies of recovery records, assignments, settings, and pending updates.

Changes made while offline may remain on the device until the application reconnects and synchronization is possible.

Users should protect devices that contain cached records and use available application controls to clear offline data when appropriate.

Removing an account or deleting locally cached information does not necessarily delete records already stored in the connected Google Sheet.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

DeAR OPs does not sell Google user data, hunter information, or recovery records to advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.

Information may be accessible to:

  • The operator and people the operator authorizes to access the connected records.

  • Google, as the provider of the connected account, Forms, Sheets, and related services.

  • Service providers involved in delivering authorized application functions, subject to their applicable roles and safeguards.

  • Authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by applicable law or necessary for legitimate security purposes.

We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, advertising retargeting, or unrelated marketing.

DeAR OPs's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

6. Google Account Permissions

DeAR OPs uses Google's authorization process to request access to supported Google services.

Users may review and revoke an application's Google account access through their Google Account security settings.

Revoking access may prevent DeAR OPs from reading or updating the connected Google Sheet or Form. It does not automatically delete information already stored in the user's Google account.

DeAR OPs does not require users to provide their Google account password directly to the application.

7. Security

We seek to use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information handled by DeAR OPS.

Users are responsible for protecting their devices, Google accounts, account credentials, and access granted to staff.

No application, network connection, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Recovery records stored in an operator's Google Sheet remain under that operator's control and are subject to the retention and deletion settings of the connected Google account.

Users may edit or delete records directly through their Google Sheet, subject to their access permissions and applicable obligations.

Locally cached application data may be removed using available application controls or by clearing the application's local storage. Pending offline changes that have not synchronized may be lost when local data is cleared.

Requests concerning any personal information maintained directly by DeMASTER DRONES for account administration, support, or licensing may be directed to the contact email below.

9. Payments and Licensing

If DeAR OPs offers paid licenses, we may maintain information necessary to administer subscriptions or seasonal licenses, including customer contact information, license status, and transaction references.

Payments may be processed by an external payment provider under that provider's own privacy policy. Payment card handling and the information retained by DeAR OPs will depend on the payment services implemented.

10. Children's Privacy

DeAR OPS is intended for professional and business-related recovery operations and is not designed for children under 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the application.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the application, its features, or applicable requirements change.

Material changes to how Google user data is accessed or used will be disclosed as required by applicable policies and law, and additional consent will be requested when required.

The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
